I'm done with my Praxis III evaluation (basically, the state watches me teach and decides if I get a teaching license or not) but still have not heard back from them... A couple of my other teacher friends heard back in about a week. It's been almost a month for me. I'm trying to remain patient and calm but it's getting hard.
Mr. H and I's little vegetable garden is sprouting! We have little seedling for: lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, basil, and parsley. Once they get a little bigger we'll transplant them outside!
Ethnic Brilliance is doing fairly well so far. Mr. H and I both took some business cards to work and talked it up :) There are a few more fans on the facebook page also! My dad has made it to his new job. Of course, transitions are always trying and prayers are greatly appreciated right now.
At work, my 8th graders are Benchmark testing this week. Only the most important test of the year for them and me! We'll be testing all week and I'm sure everyone will be exhausted. Next week, after testing is over, I have a fun project planned with the kiddos before we hit the books hard again. I figure they'll need a little break, and I know I sure will!
And last but certainly not least--Mr. H and I are going INSANE! Hopefully by posting it here we will have extra motivation to stick with it!
