V8 Fusion

Okay...so I fully realize it's way past my bedtime considering how early I have to get up but Matthew and I just returned from a late night Wal-Mart run and we're kind of intrigued and ticked off at V8. We were going down the juice aisle when Matthew commented on how great V8 Fusion is, so we decided to try some. They have multiple flavors and a Light version of each flavor as well. We had almost decided on a Light juice when Matthew wondered what the difference between Light and regular was. We flipped to the back panels of both bottles and compared. Guess what we found....?!?!?!! V8 Fusion Light and V8 Fusion are exactly the same except V8 Fusion Light's first ingredient is water. The calories and sugar contents are both half of regular Fusion. Also V8 Fusion Light only boasts 1/4 cup of fruits and vegetables per 8 oz. serving where regular V8 Fusion boasts 1/2 cup per 8 oz. serving. So...for the same serving size Light has half the calories, half the sugar, half the fruits, half the vegetables, and water as its first ingredient. So what has V8 done? Watered down the drink and entitled it Light for exactly the same price. I can divide my regular container into two bottles and fill both with water--V8 Fusion Light--tada!
