Also this week Matthew got his official score from his first actuary test. He scored a 9 on the first try! YAY!!! A 6 is considered passing and a 10 is perfect. I am so proud of all his hard work. He will take the next test on December 5 and after receiving his score from that exam he will be on the job hunt.

Standardized Testing
I took my Praxis II Pedagogy tests yesterday. I had to take a 2 hour Principles of Learning and Teaching to get my ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsement and a 1 hour Mathematics Pedagogy to get my math license. I feel pretty good about everything except one section on the Mathematics test. If I don't pass both of them I'll just retake them--not a big deal. If I did manage to pass both tests I will be done taking tests to receive my initial teaching license! I will then just have to complete the M.A.T. program and I'll be a real life teacher!!
