However, you are only allowed to scroll down if you raise your right hand and repeat after me:
I solemnly swear that I will not judge, critique, or think bad things about the Hesters. I know they moved in almost three week ago, but I do not care that their house is not set up yet :)

And today's little project:
change the outlets.
I am happy to report that no one was injured/electrocuted during this process!
so the outlets in our home are an off-white color that closely matches our trim. Yay.
But who puts that color on the dark brown kitchen island?! Really?!
Instead of calling the builder and asking him to come switch them out, I decided to do it myself. Oh yeah!
My love relationship with Lowes and Home Depot continues to grow.
Voila! Much better!
Are you proud? I was pretty proud of myself.
Well that's about it from our neck of the woods, just unpacking and trying to make it feel like ours.

I'll have to admit, that was completely wrong putting that color outlet on the island. What were they thinking?? Your replacement looks so much better!
