Spring Break!

Well, I am finally on Spring Break today!  Our school district opted to make up two of our many snow days on Monday and Tuesday of this week.  This leaves only Wed-Fri for Spring Break.  :(  sad.  BUT...come June 8th when we're running to the parking lot in freedom and other districts are waving from inside their classrooms, I will be loving these two Spring Break days!

So far today I've slept in LATE (apparently I needed some rest!), played around with a couple project ideas for my kiddos, and made two pieces of jewelry.  I still need to photograph them, but be looking for Sanguine and Resonate to hit the website and facebook page very soon!

On the topic of Ethnic Brilliance jewelry--THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone that has been supportive over the last week!  The facebook page had 52 fans last time I checked!!  I'm just enjoying having a new excuse to create jewelry.  So fun.

Coming up this weekend, Mr. H and I will celebrate some family birthdays with close loved ones.  My grandma, dad, and I all have birthdays within a few days of each other.  Oh what fun!!  This will be an especially sweet birthday celebration as my dad leaves for his new adventure and job very soon.  Thank You so much to all of you who prayed for he and my mom.  He is going to be doing Enterprise Risk Management (what he does best!) for a large company. His first assignment--Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.  Yes, continued prayers would be much appreciated as they embark on this journey.  :)

Mr. H and I have started a new hobby--gardening!  We've planted some seeds in starter containers and hope to move them outside once the weather is warm and stable.  We are so excited to see what we can grow!  Hopefully this little endeavor goes well and this will be become an annual tradition.

I guess that's about it from our little corner of the world for now.  I feel like I just rambled and jumped from one topic to the next--sorry about that.  Have a great day.  Remember to do at least one thing that makes you feel likes a million bucks!  Why?  Because life is short and you gotta make it good!

You are too cute! What kind of flowers did you plant? Love the comment about running out to our cars in the parking lot. Emily and you beat me to the cars on Tuesday. The parking lot was practically empty at 3:45. Hope you have a great weekend!
