Well, Mr. H had a birthday yesterday! Happy Birthday, babe!!! He took off work and we had a FANTASTIC day together :) slept in, opened presents, went out to Village Inn for breakfast, played with said presents and relaxed together all afternoon, went to birthday dinner with friends. Perfect!
I got Mr. H a complete golf set for his birthday--and he loved it! Score 1 for me! I got him some nice clubs in a bag, an embroidered golf shirt, and some personalized club markers. We then went to walmart after Village Inn and picked up some tees and balls. The afternoon consisted of hitting some practice shots in the giant field next to our house, retrieving the balls, heading inside to cool off (we broke shattered heat records yesterday), changing clubs, and repeating the process! So fun! If anyone is looking for some golfing buddies, we're NOT good and will make you feel great about your game--call us!
Dinner at Shoguns was great, made even better by the company of two of the BEST people in the entire world. We have this couple friend (can I refer to a couple as only one friend?!) that we absolutely love. We are so blessed by them. They are fun and encouraging, and we can truly be ourselves. No judgment, no reservations, just honest moments and hilarious memories. They are such a big part of our life and we are so thankful for them. We recognize how rare and precious it is to find another couple like this and we hope to stay close friends for years and years to come. If you're reading--we love you! :) I hope and pray that everyone can find not only the love of their life, but also the friends of their life. It's a joy.
