Classroom Words

I think over the summer I'm going to create some posters for my classroom.  It will probably be printed letters laminated to colored paper...but nonetheless.  Here are a few of the quotes I really like...

Now, here's one I love and want to include in my beginning-of-the-year parent letter.  To forward?  Ha!!

And last but certainly not least, I think I'll print the next one kind of small and put it on my desk.  I definitely can become legalistic and even rude (especially after an extra-exhausting day with junior high kids).  I can become so frustrated that I make a snide comment or two.  I am definitely not proud of this fact, but it's reality.  The first step to healing is admitting you have a problem, right?  To read more about this topic and my redemption process, see my "grace" post  :)

That's all for now--have a blessed Memorial Day weekend!

And not that anyone is counting or anything  :)  but only 8 more school days in this crazy-LONG year!

I think it is amazing that you are already making plans for next year! Great quotes.

The fact that you truly care about your students as people is SO important! Never lose that. Amazing that I just read this quote in a book about an hour ago: "The value of compassion cannot be overemphasized ... No greater burden can be borne by an individual than to know no one cares or understands."
Love you, Mom
