Today's Project

I was feeling crafty and have been wanting something to hang above Mr. H and I's bed for quite a while.  WAH LA!  This afternoon's project was born!

As you can see...

...the wall above the bed is crying out for something beautiful.  Now, I don't know if my creation quite falls into the "beautiful" category but it definitely makes me smile.

 If you guessed proposal letters, you guess right!  (ha! like anyone actually guessed that...)

A couple years ago when Mr. H proposed, he took me on an entire day-long adventure.  It began when he picked me up from my apartment at noon.  He arrived dressed all fancy-shmancy, toting beautiful roses and a sweet letter.  This letter was my 12:00 letter, and it was followed by six more throughout the day at appointed times.  The last letter ended with "...if you look at me I have something for you..."  This was the part where he proposed!  Precious, I know!  I have of course treasured these letters and re-read them numerous times.  I have wanted to display them in some way because they are just too cute and make me smile, but I couldn't decide how.  Until today. 

A run to Hobby Lobby landed me with coordinating scrapbook paper and relatively inexpensive frames.  

 

Just a little measuring and taping later, I have some fun and sentimental wall decor.  :)  I love it!!!
