Best Wednesday!

Today has been an overall wonderful day! 

It was the last day with students before they head off to spring break (we have two days of staff development before we're free to frolic) and it was a magnificent 77 degrees this afternoon! I was pleasantly surprised at how well focused my students were today. We were productive! To be 100% honest I wasn't sure we would be.

After school was over, I came home earlier than I usually get away and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. The Kindle was out of battery and charging so I opted for a real-life paperback. What?! haha.

But seriously, does an afternoon get much better than this?!

After relaxing in the beauty of the Lord, my Toms wedges arrived from the UPS man :) They fit wonderfully my biggest fear about ordering them and are adorable! Wearing them tomorrow? Of course.

And last but DEFINITELY not least, the best part of the entire day, 

DADDY IS COMING HOME!

YAY!!!!! He will wrapping up his assignment in the UAE and will be back home for good as of next week. Excellent. He now gets to watch the house progress from a much closer vantage point and might just be around when the heavy lifting begins :) Welcome home, daddy!
