Today I went to work, and based upon the weather I will consistently be there for all five days this week. This is odd...and hasn't happened in a long time. I will admit, I was excited to get back today. See my kiddos, get back in the swing of the things, play with building block :) we're doing 3D drawing right now and blocks REALLY help! Yeah, there are tough days, but overall I love my job. I am blessed.
And it's Valentine's Day--HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! As many of you know, Mr. H and I really enjoy watching The Big Bang Theory sitcom. It's hilarious, at least we think so. You should check it out. Sheldon, one of the main characters on the show, makes this argument concerning Valentine's Day:
"Given that St. Valentine was a 3rd century Roman Priest who was stoned and beheaded, wouldn't a more appropriate celebration of the evening be taking one's steady gal to witness a brutal murder?"
Why I thought that was worth sharing? I really have no idea :) Maybe because we watched Big Bang tonight? Maybe just because I'm feeling random....
In other news, I will soon be receiving a new, custom made make-up bag similar to the one pictured below.
How absolutely precious!! I have asked for colors in the black/white/razorback red theme. If you know me at all, not a surprise :) I want my craft room to someday be black, white, and red. I want my bedding (or at least the guest bedding) to someday be black, white, and red. Mr. H and I's wedding was black, white, and red. Okay, you get the idea. One of my good friends from college makes wonderful sewn treasures and is an absolutely stunning woman. You should check out her work here and even order a piece if you feel so inclined.
Well, I guess that's enough rambling for today. I hope you find time to truly enjoy the days this week. Don't just get caught up in the "have to's" and take time to relax, enjoy, smile, and be blessed!
