Please ignore any crazy ramblings or obscene typos. Gracias!
Whew! I was so glad to make it to this weekend! After our snow day on Monday, I had 6 meetings in 3 days. YIKES! So thankful that my wonderful Savior and fantastic hubby were there for me this week. We've also had some crazy weather this week. Snow on Monday (obviously) then rain all day Tuesday, then crazy winds on Wednesday, then more rain warm spring rain on an off Thursday and Friday. Given that our weather cannot seem to figure out what season we're in, Mr. H and I weren't expecting any progress on the house this week. We checked today just in case and by-golly a little work had gotten done.
Rebar and concrete now fill the cinder block frame.
Today included lots of relaxing for both of us, and also a little shopping! Since I've been doing TurboFire workouts, which I absolutely LOVE and highly recommend, I have been felling a little more in shape the last few weeks. These workouts are high-level cardio routines set to fun music. It makes me feel almost like I'm dancing again oh the good ole days! while burning tons of calories. Now, I don't fool myself into thinking I look like these people from the videos
but ya know, maybe someday!
I did splurge and buy myself some new workout shorts today :) FUN! I won't burden you with personal pictures forever scared? gouge your eyes out? but here are my latest "booty shorts" as I lovingly refer to them.
Last but not least today, I created a new pair of Toms :)
Do a quick google search for cherry blossom and see what wonderful and beautiful images pop up. Mine looks something like this...
how can you not smile?!?!
So... I tried to make some cherry blossom Toms with sharpies.
freehand some branch/tree things.
Then go to town adding blossoms. FUN!
I can't wait to wear my fun new creations!
Well, I'm going to go now and sleep off this sharpie headache. Until next time, be blessed!

Love that your crafing addiction was not just a childhood thing! Also glad most of your crafting materials are non-toxic. :)
Those unique Tom's are so adorable!
Love, Mom
I'm so impressed at your Toms. I would never trust myself to do that. And mine wouldn't turn out NEAR as cute! I'm excited to follow and see how your house turns out! What fun :)
