Today Mr. H and I unexpectedly got to see one set of our grandparents! They were passing through the area on their way home from a fun weekend with friends and we got to have lunch with them. Such a fun surprise!!
After lunch we drove by the house, of course. :) Good 'ole Saturday tradition now.

Are they really going to fill all this in with cement?! I know they have to bring in the plumbing and stuff before they pour the foundation, but holy cow! Surely some fill dirt will be coming? I have no idea...
It looks like the house will be sitting over 6 feet off above street level! WHOA! One perk...no headlights shinning in the front windows as people drive down the street.
Oh, and sorry that the picture quality isn't as great today, I had to use my phone since I didn't realize the real camera's battery was dead until we arrived :( oops. Not to shabby for a phone, though, huh??

Oh, how exciting. Yeah, it looks like there will be lots of fill dirt brought in. Anyway, can't wait till it is done and we can see it in person.
