Well, we finally have our first snow of this 2011-2012 winter! Confession--I'm excited about it! :)
I honestly didn't think we'd be out today. I thought the snow would arrive too late to cancel, we'd all get to work, then more accumulation would happen, then we'd be in the awkward do we send everyone home? stage of life. Thankfully, that was not the case. sidenote: we're the only school our size in our area closed today. ha!
Sadly, Mr H. did have to brave the elements and head in to work. He had a very hectic week last week and is trying to make up some ground today on projects that were pushed to the back burner. Be safe, sweetheart!!
Since I got up and did breakfast like normal with Mr. H, I'm trying to use today to accomplish some things on the weekend todo list that didn't quite get done. I hope to get some laundry done, clean up the kitchen a little, and get all of our paperwork together for taxes. If I'm really good, I might even finish lesson planning for the rest of the unit we're on Algebra and Geometry. But don't hold your breath...I might opt for movie watching instead :)
