He is Risen!

This day always makes me emotional. Mr. H and I attended LifeChurch online as usual and Pastor Groeschel definitely brought a different message than the typical Easter sermon. We are currently in the series Why? So far we have covered Why don't I always feel God? Why doesn't God answer my prayers? and today was Why do bad things happen to good people? Next week is Why would God use someone like me? These messages have been wonderful! So Biblically rooted and also so applicable to life. I would definitely recommend you check them out at www.lifechurch.tv/watch. They also have all their old series archived. TONS of great teaching available there!

As I mentioned, this week was Why do bad things happen to good people? Pastor Groeschel offered some great teachings for life, then also brought in the message of Easter. We are not "good people." We might be better than some others in our own eyes, but compared with the majesty of the Lord we're all just sinners. There has only been one truly good man to walk this earth in all of history, and something very bad did happen to him. But he volunteered. My Lord and Savior lived a perfect, sinless life and was crucified FOR ME! Want to talk about bad things happening to someone good??

The entire message will humble and speak to you, at least it did me. Click here to watch it.

Also, if you've never heard the Sunday's Coming message, it gives me chills. I love it! There are many videos that have been put together to include the audio, here's one.

And another video :) I've had this song on repeat today!

Live boldly and in fervent pursuit of the Lord this week. That is my prayer for myself. Will you join me?

Praise God on this Easter Sunday! Christ paid the ultimate price for each of us. All we have to do is accept His grace and mercy.

Yes, Jessie, I join you in bold and fervent pursuit of the risen Lord this week! "Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and its righteousness".

Love you, Mom
