Yep, I am now a quarter of a century old! :) No time like the present to make sure I'm leaving the dream.
My actual birthday was last Sunday, April 1. Mr. H made sure the entire weekend was one to remember. He made me feel so special. Man, just one more reason I love him!
On Friday I arrived home from work to this surprise. An oreo ice cream cake and champagne.
On Saturday we headed out for a fun day with friends and dinner at The Melting Pot. I have been wanting to try this fondue restaurant for quite a while now and it did not disappoint. AWESOME!
Here's the gang with our first course, martinis and cheese fondue.
Well, as you can see the first course of cheese fondue had been devoured by the time we snapped this pic. It took approximately 3 minutes. Seriously. Delicious.
The birthday girls' martini! Her birthday is Friday. YAY for joint celebrations!
As I'm sure you noticed, one member of the fab four was not in attendance. She got a crummy stomach bug and had to stay home. :( she was dearly missed.
The two wonderful men that planned the Saturday birthday adventure for us lucky ladies.
We're blessed.
On Sunday we had some food and relaxation time with the family. I unfortunately do not have any pictures from that day. Grandma, Aunt, want to send some pics??
I also got some pretty awesome gifts throughout the weekend.
Mr. H ordered me the flat iron I have been drooling over. The Keratin Complex professional. I love it!
My wonderful in-laws sent me some new Pandora charms for my bracelet. The Bible, dangling cross, and angel are my new Faith Set. I absolutely love them and have worn my bracelet to work every day so far this week.
The bestie got me a plethora of personal gifts.
Serving tray for the new house, new journal, awesome twisted glass necklace, among other things.
She knows me so well.
Grandma and Grandpa gave me a fun carry-all bag.
Complete with matching coin purse, pen, and writing pad.
I also received many more generous gifts and gift cards,
these are just the ones I took quick pics of with my phone.
From the deepest part of my heart,
THANK YOU!
So many people made my birthday weekend wonderful.
I am blessed beyond any measure that I could deserve.
I love you all.
